About the Field
Here at Lions Den we have a 2 acre, fully secure dog exercise field. Our top-quality fencing is 1.94m high and is buried into the ground so that even digging paws can’t escape! We have a doubled gated system making this the most secure entry and exit for you and your pet. You can have a relaxed walk with the peace of mind that you have the field to yourself with no other people or dogs around.
Our family have run a small farm here for 34 years, growing arable crops and we also have a unit of high welfare pigs. I grew up here as a child, and recently returned to live here with my husband who now farms the land with my Father.
We are located just outside of Walkington, with easy access from Beverley, Little Weighton, Cottingham, Market Weighton, Newbald and Bishop Burton. The secure dog field is situated on well-draining Yorkshire Wolds land and includes your sole access to Linghowe Plantation. This beautiful, wooded area was established long before our family moved here and contains a variety of trees including our impressive Scotch Pines.
